As part of IOA, the EA3G is a non-profit
association, self-managed and governed by its members.
Administration of the Association is conducted by a
Board of Directors and an Executive Committee. The Association’s
office is in Paris, France. The Association’s secretariat
in Poitiers is responsible for the administrative work
related to the Association activities. EA3G
members are encouraged to take part in the management
of the Association.
Organisation
The
EA3G is governed by a Board of Directors
elected at General Assembly of Members. The Board is
composed of Members and includes the EA3G
Past Presidents.
The
Board of Directors appoints an Executive Committee comprising
the President, the President-Elect, several Vice-Presidents
and the Secretary-Treasurer. The Executive Committee
manages the EA3G under the control of the
Board of Directors.
Other
members can be co-opted to support the Executive Committee
in the development of activities. These members constitute
the Task Group.
The
rules for EA3G operation are given in the
EA3G by-laws.
The
EA3G activities are approved by the IOA Board
of Directors in term of relevance with the IOA by-laws.
The
International Board of Directors elected by IOA Membership
governs IOA. The IOA Board is made up of the IOA Officers,
Directors of the EA3G, PAG, NIG Regional
Boards, Presidents of the EA3G, PAG, NIG
Regional Groups, IOA Past-Presidents.
The
IOA Board of Directors appoints an International Executive
Committee comprising the President, the President-Elect,
the Secretary, the Treasurer and the Presidents of the
EA3G, PAG, NIG Regional Boards.
International
sub-committees make recommendations to the IOA Board
on any changes that may be required for the development
and the co-ordination of Regional Groups activities
within the IOA.

REVISED at an EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
OF MEMBERS (May 1995)
Extended to Asian and Australasian sectors by resolution
of the International Board of Directors
Preface
The International Ozone Association [I.O.A.] is a scientific
and non-profit making organisation incorporated in the
United States of America. Membership is open to all
nationalities and for administration purposes the Board
of Directors of I.O.A. has created Regional Groups.
The following Bylaws apply to the European African Group.
Article
I – Formation
The International Ozone Association [I.O.A.] has created,
by Resolution of the International Board of Directors,
an organisation known as the" European African
Group of the International Ozone Association, referred
to as the "E.A. Group" and governed by the
Law relating to non-profit making organisations in the
country where the Registered Office is located.
Article
II – Aims
The aims of the E.A. Group are identical to those of
the International Ozone Association, as follows.
To
collect and disseminate information on, and to promote
research in., any and all aspects of ozone and related
oxygen species technologies through conferences, workshops,
symposia, newsletters, bulletins, journals, books, pamphlets,
or other public information media, or other means.
To
provide liaison among industry, educational and research
institutions, governmental agencies, conservation groups,
and the general public in information collection and
dissemination, problem solving, or research in ozone
technology and applications.
To
receive, manage, and use any real or personal property,
or any funds, received by the Association by payment,
bequest, grant, purchase, or otherwise for the purposes
of the Association.
