Nice is easily accessible by road, rail, and air.

By air

The Nice Côte d’Azur airport is France’s largest after Paris, with 14 million passengers a year, over 120 direct destinations and 60 regular airlines flying to 43 countries.

By rail

The national railway system provides rapid and express trains (TGV, corail) connecting the French Riviera with all parts of France and all major cities in Europe.

Public transport in Nice

The tramway : the N° 1 line offers a north-east connection passing through the city centre along the avenue Jean Médecin and through the Place Masséna 21 hours a day.

VISA APPLICATION

Depending on your nationality, a visa is required when intending to travel to France. All visas must be applied for prior to departure at the nearest French Embassy or French Consulate in the applicant’s country of residence. The type of visa required depends both on the duration and purpose of your stay in France. You want to attend or participate in the congress related to your professional activity. You will be issued a short-stay visa valid for the Schengen area or a French non-European territory depending on your destination. It will allow you to visit France for the duration of your visit, which must not exceed 90 days. To obtain your visa, you must demonstrate or prove the link between your professional activity and the purpose of your trip.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

Registration for the Congress implies that the delegate agrees that neither the Organizer assume any liability whatsoever. Delegates are requested to make their own arrangements for medical, travel, and personal insurance.

The organisers may at any time, with or without giving notice, in their absolute discretion and without giving any reason, cancel or postpone the Congress, change its venue or programme and withdraw any invitation to attend.

In any case, neither the organisers nor any of their officers, employees, agents, members or representatives shall be liable for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person, nor will they return any money paid to them in connection with the Conference unless they are satisfied not only that the money in question remains under their control, but also that the person who paid it has been unfairly prejudiced (as to which the decision shall be in their sole and unfettered discretion, and when announced, final and conclusive).
