Paris has simplified its public transport fares, moving away from paper tickets toward reusable and digital options. The former paper ticket is being phased out and replaced by contactless alternatives like the Navigo Easy card or smartphone apps. Tickets are available at ticket machines and offices in all metro and RER stations, and can also be loaded onto contactless Navigo Easy cards or smartphones.
